Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BrewMind mobile application (“App”) and the BrewMind website at brewmind.app (“Website”), both operated by Tegrovio, Dominik Palzer, Sterntalerweg 65, 40235 Düsseldorf, Germany (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By installing the App or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Website.

2. No account, no server

The App requires no user account and no registration. It stores your data locally on your device and does not transmit it to us. Accordingly, there is no login to protect, no server-side profile, and nothing for us to restore if your device is lost. Backing up your device is your responsibility.

The App can copy a single shot or a selection from your history to the clipboard as JSON. What you do with that export is entirely up to you.

3. Beta status

The App is currently provided as beta software, distributed through Apple TestFlight. This means:

• Features, functionality and design may change at any time without prior notice.
• The App may contain bugs, errors or interruptions.
• A build may expire or be replaced; TestFlight builds have a limited lifetime set by Apple.
• Beta access is provided free of charge and may be discontinued, or the App may move to a paid model later.

Distribution through TestFlight is additionally subject to Apple's own terms for that service.

4. No warranty

The App and Website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or continuously available.

We are not liable for loss of data or brew records, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Because the App keeps everything on your device, a device reset, a lost phone or an uninstall removes your records permanently.

The App records and displays what you measured. It does not give brewing advice, and nothing it shows is a recommendation you should follow without your own judgement.

5. Ending use

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which removes its local data. There is no account to close.

6. Your obligations

When using the App and Website you agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App or any part of it;
• use the App or Website for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to disrupt or compromise the Website or its hosting infrastructure;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the App without our express written consent.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at brewmind.app/terms. Material changes affecting beta testers will be communicated by e-mail before they take effect.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Düsseldorf, Germany, to the extent permitted by law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence.
